125I-labelled polymeric micelles demonstrated higher bone uptake and reduced liver or spleen uptake compared to stannous colloid, indicating enhanced targetability for bone imaging [PMID:11771706].

Management

The 125I-labelling efficiency of the micelles was above 90% and remained stable in human serum for 24 hours, supporting their feasibility in clinical settings [PMID:11771706].

Prognosis & Follow-up

With higher blood maintenance and specific bone uptake, these micelles could offer improved longitudinal assessment in the follow-up of bone diseases [PMID:11771706].
