Overview
Gastrointestinal mucormycosis is a rare but severe fungal infection caused by fungi of the order Mucorales, often affecting immunocompromised individuals. It can involve various parts of the gastrointestinal tract, leading to significant morbidity and mortality if not promptly diagnosed and treated. 27Diagnosis
