Last edited:

Management

In group B, where subdermal undermining was added to suction-curettage, 87.5% of axillae showed significant malodor eradication postoperatively, compared to only 33% in group A who underwent suction-curettage alone [PMID:29398607].

Complications

The complication rate was significantly higher in group B (13.7%) compared to group A (4.4%) who only received suction-curettage [PMID:29398607].

Prognosis & Follow-up

Patients in group B, treated with the combined technique, showed significantly higher satisfaction and reported greater improvements in quality of life compared to those in group A [PMID:29398607].
