Overview
Premature beats, also known as premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) or extrasystoles, are ectopic heartbeats originating from the ventricles that occur earlier than the next expected normal beat, potentially impacting cardiac rhythm and function in neonates, particularly preterm infants.Diagnosis
