Epidemiology

The management of the abdominal wall endometriosis malignant transformation is not well established due to its extremely low incidence rate [PMID:32479429].

Clinical Presentation

A 45-year-old woman presented with a 1-year history of a growing, painless, cystic lesion measuring 10×6 cm near an abdominal scar from a previous right hemicolectomy [PMID:32479429].

Diagnosis

An abdominal/pelvic CT scan revealed an infiltrative mass of 9.8 cm in the abdominal wall, aiding in the diagnosis [PMID:32479429].
