Overview
Barrett's esophagus is a condition characterized by metaplastic columnar epithelium replacing the normal squamous mucosa in the distal esophagus, often associated with chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is a precursor to esophageal adenocarcinoma. 72Diagnosis
