Overview
Venous leg ulcers (VLUs) are chronic wounds resulting from chronic venous insufficiency, affecting approximately 1% of the population worldwide and more than 3% of older adults 1. These ulcers are challenging to heal and represent a significant burden in terms of morbidity and healthcare costs 2.Diagnosis
