Diabetic mononeuropathy multiplex

Overview

Diabetic mononeuropathy multiplex is a type of peripheral neuropathy that affects multiple individual nerves, often in a patchy distribution. It is a complication of diabetes mellitus.

Diagnosis

  • Diabetes mellitus can be diagnosed by measuring plasma glucose or hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) concentrations 1.
