Atrial aneurysm

Overview

Atrial aneurysm refers to a localized dilation or outpouching of the atrial wall, often associated with underlying conditions such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, and previous cardiac surgeries. It can predispose individuals to thromboembolic events and arrhythmias 719.
