Condyloma acuminata of vulva in pregnancy

Overview

Condyloma acuminata, also known as genital warts, are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. During pregnancy, these lesions can present on the vulva.

Special Populations

Pregnancy

  • HPV vaccination during the periconceptional or gestational period has not been associated with an increased risk of spontaneous abortion, stillbirth, preterm birth, birth defects, small for gestational age, or ectopic pregnancy 1. This applies to 2vHPV, 4vHPV, and 9vHPV vaccines 1.
