Takotsubo cardiomyopathy

Overview

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, also known as "broken heart syndrome," is an acute, reversible cardiac condition characterized by transient left ventricular dysfunction, often triggered by physical or emotional stress 2. It mimics acute coronary syndrome but lacks significant coronary artery disease 2.
