Overview
Rheumatic fever is an inflammatory disease triggered by Group A streptococcal infection, leading to multisystem involvement including carditis, polyarthritis, chorea, subcutaneous nodules, and erythema marginatum. It often progresses to chronic rheumatic heart disease if untreated 1666.Diagnosis
