Overview
Atrial septal defect (ASD) is a congenital heart anomaly characterized by an abnormal opening in the interatrial septum, leading to shunting of blood between the atria. This condition can cause hemodynamic burden and may require intervention depending on the size and shunt severity 1320.Diagnosis
