Overview

Intestinal obstruction refers to a blockage that impedes the normal passage of contents through the intestines, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, vomiting, and bloating. It can be caused by mechanical factors (e.g., adhesions, tumors) or non-mechanical issues (e.g., functional obstruction). 1239

Diagnosis
