Overview
Neurofibromatosis (NF) encompasses two primary types: NF1 (von Recklinghausen syndrome) and NF2. NF1 is characterized by cutaneous and subcutaneous neurofibromas, café-au-lait spots, and increased risk of various malignancies and vascular complications. NF2 involves schwannomas and meningiomas, often leading to neurological deficits 1644.Diagnosis
