Overview
Impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) refers to a condition where blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be classified as diabetes mellitus. It is often a precursor to type 2 diabetes and is characterized by insulin resistance and relative insulin deficiency. 11Diagnosis
